What are the Camp Lejeune claims for?

This lawsuit is for victims of water contamination that occurred in a Marine Corps base. The claims are for injuries that occurred from 1953 to 1987. The water used by the residents at that base had very high levels of contamination. In fact, some of the testing demonstrated that the water had more than 3,000 times the amount of chemicals deemed to be safe for consumption or use. The injured victims who lived at the base or worked there can make a claim under the new law. This includes the family members of the soldiers who lived at the base with the members of the military.

What kind of injuries can be developed from the toxic water at Camp Lejeune?

Lou Gehrig’s disease or ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis), liver cancer, or kidney cancer can be some of the injuries that arise from the toxic water exposure at this military camp. The injured victims will be asked about their residence at the time of the toxic exposure and their current illness.
